I’m Tim Tackett, and I have successfully worked with both buyers and sellers in the Middle Tennessee real estate market for the past 4 years. Murfreesboro has been my home since 1970, but I have equal experience working in the surrounding communities of Smyrna, LaVergne, Eagleville, Lascassas, and Nashville. I have a working knowledge of Middle Tennessee State University, and have assisted many students, parents, and employees with their real estate needs associated with this 25,000 student university.
I have spent my entire professional life in service to people. I retired from the teaching profession in 2006 after 32 years in the Rutherford County School system, my last position as principal of Oakland High School. I’ve always been a “people” person - understanding that communication and trust are the basics for reaching a common goal. That’s how I have approached my real estate business ... I am blessed with a wonderful wife, Linda, also recently retired from the teaching profession after 36 years in the classroom. We have two adult married children, and two beautiful grandchildren. We have enjoyed being active members of St. Mark’s UMC since 1975. Linda and I met in the early ‘70’s at Middle Tennessee State University, and are zealous supporters of the Blue Raiders. We also like to travel as much as possible.
